Why content management and support?

I help companies and customers understand each other.
In first grade, I wanted to be a writer. They say that your childhood dreams are a good indication for finding your passion, and I think ‘they’ might be right.
I started in tech as a support agent, as many do. While I grew within my support team, I saw the impacts of clear communication first-hand. I was lucky to work at a growing company; whenever our product or marketing teams needed input on case questionnaires, notifications, or FAQs, I made sure that user needs were included in the conversation.
At the end of 2021, I decided to pursue content management full-time. My network has allowed me to keep my focus on support content, and I strive to continue bridging the gap between the content and support disciplines.
Who is my ideal client?
I love working with growing businesses.
Content is not often the first priority to a younger company working to scale. Many of my clients are in a transition period where content is becoming a priority, but their budget doesn’t lend itself to a full-time content manager.
My role on most projects will fluctuate between content strategist and content designer, and I’m always happy to work with clients on where I can best meet their needs.
Whether you have the budget for a full content overhaul (over 150 hours) or simply need help getting started (less than 20), I can bring a solution that will get your content moving in the right direction.

What are my specialties?

My key types of projects
Help Centers (inside and out)
FAQ Overhaul (although ask me why FAQs aren’t your best solution)
Zendesk Admin (putting it all together)
Email notifications (from agents to automations)
Support processes (talking it out makes for the best alignment)
Style guidelines (even some unofficial basics go a long way)
Want to work together?
At this time, I am focused on developing a support content course alongside the UX Content Collective. I hope to have the bandwidth to work with new clients by the end of this summer.
I also work as a subcontractor with LaPlante Management. I focus on optimizing support content alongside other support workflows and tools within the Zendesk Suite. If you’re looking for robust support solutions, LaPlante is a preferred Zendesk partner and has done it all!
